A fine dining chef since 2014, Jim Taugher has done it all! Traditionally trained in culinary school, he then made it his mission to work at some of the best restaurants in the Twin Cities over the last decade.

Armed with a huge collection of cookbooks from around the world, Jimma spends his free time experimenting with and being fascinated by the endless array of flavors this planet has to offer!

In 2021 Chef Jimma started a line of pickled fruits and vegetables, ranging from beets to pears to asparagus to smoked cherries. You may have seen his bright Fermentation Station tent at local farmers markets, and found his jars of delicious pickled goodies at Kowalski’s and other specialty stores.

Over the years, Jimma has become proficient at cooking for members of his extended family who have special dietary needs like celiac disease, diabetes, dairy allergies, vegan and vegetarian lifestyles, plus just plain picky eaters! Everyone loves the dishes Jimma prepares for them!
